Time for some righteous indignation

Come on, he's the 2nd most successful fast bowler ever. Just slightly behind JIMMY ANDERSON!!

Magill has a better average than Warne.

Not according to this he didn't.

McGrath (and even Lillee) >>>>>Anderson.

Naturally if you play enough tests, you'll surpass people progressively eventually.

Great achievement though, and Cook.

Interesting, I was always under the impression that Magill's was better

Who? I looked at the top 20 wicket takers and couldn't see this person. When did he play?

Cook is more of a batsman

Assume you mean Lillee, the bloke who terrorised all and sundry in the 70's (mainly with Thommo up the other end). :D

Put simply, if we added WSC stats, he would have been up there. Still would have him in my "all time" team (that I have seen live).

If we added Kent League stats I'd be up there as well. However, only tests count.

Super tests (as they were called at the time) were even more "credible" during the WSC era. Had the best of the best playing there, including the rampant West Indies of that era. They weren't recognised but only because of the stiff establishment of the time, plus was hard to consider "World XI" stats given they were made up of "all sorts", including some of your best at the time (eg Randall, Greig, Underwood, Willis).

Not test matches, what next? Did this Lily bloke bowl out his brother in the back garden.

Rashid's "Ball of the century". As good as Warne's, maybe better.

Warne bowled a half dozen or so out like that, most even better.

Super tests were a class above normal tests at the time, but not surprised you don't understand.

Ok then, you know every now and then you can watch with both eyes open. The ball was immense.

Yes and the Kent League is better than tests as well.

Based on what?

Imagine all of today's best cricketers suddenly went into a "rebel" test league - therefore relegating everyone else to their traditional test teams. Which would be the better standard?

Ripper ball, but have seen many like that on the Shane Warne highlight reel.

I would say that's the second best ball I've seen bowled by a spin bowler.

A few of Warnie's when you have a few minutes to spare. Illustrates he didn't do it just once or twice.

You can't honestly believe that anything after the first 2 is even close.

1. Better due to it being day 1 and he was bowling over.
2. Moves a long way but bowling to a left handed takes a little bit away with the movement as it's not possible to just kick it away.
3. Not even debatable from now on.

The last couple were pretty good. Turned a country mile! As I said, it just illustrated that he did it often, wasn't saying all 8 were better.

So he did it all the time, so you posted 7 lesser deliveries.

Subjective, although you know that. I'd rate at least 3 (others) better or on par at worst.
