Kind of sums up modern management expectations....where it is rare when a team has no new signings...maybe the Manager is happy with his squad and doesn't want to cash up player's agents

I'm still here, but obviously nothing to add to this topic, or our squad!

TBF, Spurs are in the same situation as always, we lack the financial clout (or willingness to overpay on transfers or wages) to compete with City, Liverpool, United & Chelsea (Arsenal are ahead of us, but still well behind those four), so we have to wait and see what's left. The problem then becomes, are you actually improving your squad by spending money, or just doing it to appease the fans and the media? If it's the latter, you end up with players like Sissoko and Aurier and personally, I'd rather bring up one of the youngsters than spunk millions on distinctly average players. At least we didn't sell anyone and signed Kane and Poch to long term contracts, not that that means anything I know, but it's better than letting them run down. None of us know what goes on behind the scenes at clubs but I'm just hoping that, if the opportunity to buy someone worthwhile does arise, Levy will stump up.

By the way, how did your record wages earner Herr Ozil play last night? Was he on the pitch? I saw someone who looked a bit like him, but that bloke looked disinterested.

Having a cheese bar is more important than giving your manager more of a chance to win a trophy apparently.

Every club should have one, and remember, despite the zillions that Klopp has spent (after telling us he wasn't that sort of manager - what rubbish, they all are given the chance), he ain't won nothing yet.

Klopp hasn't yet won anything with us, yet we have progressed year on year. Your manager has never won anything, zilch, 0 shiraz all, nothing in his managerial career

Please explain how finishing fourth one year, then finishing fourth the following year, is a progression? You're at a standstill.

We reached the CL final. You spurs fans don't know what the word final means do you? It's progression as it was our first year back in it.

And you don't need to buy me a drink on Saturday, can you sponsor me instead? I ma $100 short of my goal, I am walking 35kms for charity on Sunday and am in training.

Please sponsor my 35km walk this Sunday to support my crazy challenge to cure mito!
