Why dont you preach what you believe and ditch Optus and Foxtel? Why don’t things belong on there?ozzie owl wrote:This is where the WC belongs .MegaBonus wrote:SBS to broadcast ALL World Cup action LIVE over the next 48 hours

Without pay to there is no football in this country. Optus are struggling but short term pain will ensure long term gain.

I wonder if it was OM's new miraculous technology that caused all the issue. If it was, thanks. I can watch in HD and record onto Foxtel IQ.predrag wrote:All the group games live now on SBS-thank you optus!

Massive PR disaster for Optus. I agree at least unlike Optus at least the games can be recorded on Foxtel IQ.eagleboy wrote:I wonder if it was OM's new miraculous technology that caused all the issue. If it was, thanks. optus = fetch
no difference
The app is rubbish Fetch is superb. If they didn't promise the app no one would be complaining except those who have CHOSEN not to get Fetch, the same people who have CHOSEN to get Foxtel.

Optus Sport doesn't look like a very good option. Only SD streams in 2018. What a country.

Get the Optus App and you just rewatch the game when you want OR ask OM's mate to set up a system using aerials to get it all for free.ozzie owl wrote:Massive PR disaster for Optus. Ozzie Owl can't comprehend this, he is under the false impression Optus is 100% rubbish, when only part of it is.God is an Englishman wrote:

I was loyal to them, and watched last night in HD on Optus with no issue.....and this was a mixture of app and Fetch. I am happy the fools who have a choice have gone to watch Foster, providing an even better experience for me

SBS works better for me as I can only watch Optus on the main tv. Now I watch the games in more comfort.Allez Allez Allez wrote:Ozzie Owl can't comprehend this, he is under the false impression Optus is 100% rubbish, when only part of it is.God is an Englishman wrote:

I now have three fetch boxes (Thanks to the Optus woes), until then SBS was better for me due to it being on my main TV, my 'football' TV is not the main one.God is an Englishman wrote:SBS works better for me as I can only watch Optus on the main tv. Re: How are you watching the World Cup?
AAA for your information I never said Optus is 100% rubbish and I have the Optus app and have watched the EPL this season. The Optus premier league shows are excellent , especially the highlights show and I watch some games live. However my issue is that Optus buys the rights to the biggest sporting event on the planet and then is shocked by the demand and its system's cant cope. Nothing more nothing less.Allez Allez Allez wrote:Ozzie Owl can't comprehend this, he is under the false impression Optus is 100% rubbish, when only part of it is.God is an Englishman wrote:

Re: How are you watching the World Cup?
That's all cool and I agree to an extent BUT the point is, with Fetch there is no problem. I keep going back to 1992 and EPL going to Pay TV (Sky), and now it's on BT and soon Amazon Prime.ozzie owl wrote:AAA for your information I never said Optus is 100% rubbish and I have the Optus app and have watched the EPL this season. To get the content you need you sometimes have to pay extra or swap, and that is what is happening here now. With Optus, Fetch TV you can watch FTA and Optus Sport.
Optus are far from blameless and have screwed up - but the outrage is OTT.

I am not looking forward to going back to optus for all the round of 16 games.

My SBS coverage of the Portugal game blanked out for about 10 mins last night. I blame Optus.

Maybe you just have to make sure you're not within playing distance of the TV, then you can avoid the penalty.Old Master wrote:So far I have had no problems with my service, always perfect with no drop outs.
