Some great goals but where was Brett Holman's against Serbia in 2010 WC and Cahills cracker in 2014 WC?

The Tim Cahill left foot volley against Holland would have to be up there also.

Close but Charlies' goal was the greatest ever.

Shoot goal

It was Tim Cahill.
I stated qualified in a WC Comp.

One of the most significant goals was Jim McKay’s in neutral Hong Kong in November 1973, when it took a 3rd game against South Korea after draws in Sydney and Seoul. It took us to our first ever World Cup Finals in the (then) West Germany in 1974.

I was lying in an Ashford Hospital ward recovering from a slash-and-burn cartilage operation with a group of other unfortunates and we nearly took the roof off and woke the whole hospital when Jimmy’s ripper soared in.

What's to expand? Colin Curran scored a goal in a world cup 40 years before Cahill.

I hope this clip was on repeat during the flight home for the Socceroos over the weekend so they are able to actually score when they have the opportunity later this week or else they along with the rest of us will be watching other teams play in Russia :(
