Brahma Lodge Soccer Club 2017

Post by Gabon »

Men’s Seniors Pre-season training begins on Wednesday 18th January at 7:00pm sharp (please arrive at least 30 minutes beforehand to ensure you’re ready).

All current and potential new players are welcome to come out to train and see for themselves what our clubs about and what the plans are for the club for the upcoming season. Our First pre-season game will be on the 12th February, with squads to be selected from both player attendance/commitment and application in the prior sessions from Day 1.

Trainings will be held on Wednesday and Friday nights at the club which is situated at Cockburn Green, Mortess Street, Brahma Lodge.

Water will be supplied with running shoes only required if you suffer from the hard grounds at this time of the year. All the clubs facilities (changerooms, showers, clubroom, bar etc.) will be available for all players with food also available after each Friday’s training session.

Coaches for the upcoming season are:

First Team: Ryan Mogg
Reserves: Ben Challinor
C’s: TBA
Over 35’s: Ron Neve

We look forward to preparing for the challenges ahead and working towards another successful year for the club in 2017.

Any queries please contact myself (Ryan) on 0431 400 085 or PM me 8)

I bet Ryan isn't impressed losing his top scorer from the last 2 years - will this bring them back to the pack - time will tell.

They will probably still win the league albeit by a reduced goal difference.

No coach is happy to lose players but players make their own decisions on where they play and not clubs so with this I /we have wished Robbie, and the others that have gone back to federation, all the very best and thanked them for their contribution to our clubs successes whilst they’ve been with us and that they and their families are always welcome at our club.

As for bringing us back to the pack, we won the league by one game but understand your point in that losing players will have an effect however both I and the remaining players look forward to the challenge this brings in competing and challenging again in the tough league that is Sunday Division 1.

With Robbie and Chad departing will definitely make it more difficult but will definitely be in the mix

Two big losses for sure.. the question remains though, how many players have moved on??
In my time at Anfield we always said we had the best two teams on Merseyside - Liverpool and Liverpool reserves.

sounds like div 1 will be missing a number of quality players from 2016 from different clubs

So he's sticking with SAASL.
Now, if you're lucky, you could hack through your ankle in five minutes.
