You would need to reword it otherwise you would still be wrong.

I can put one up now about either of your countries and the (football) world cup though

who gives a shiraz what you do? go for it son

you are right tho.. will need to future proof it

"England 50+ years without an international title....... and counting" or something like that
You seem more angry about the England National team than us supporters.

When you post this, all you do is show you were wrong

will you be joining the celebrations on the day? or will you also dispute the FA on this one?

No. I was crushed to death, DOA at Hospital, left shoulder, pelvis and legs & ankles smashed = 1year in wheelchair, 32 operations in 1st year, 1 year on walker, rest of life using 'elbow crutch' stick.

Bu apart from chronic pain and balance problems I am very happy to be alive.
The older I get the better I was.

I was going on the assumption you were Greek and therefore follow the Greek National Team.

good assumption (sort of) but bad judgement... lets see here

2015 Australia crowned Asian Champions
2004 Greek crowned European champions

both in my lifetime and both bring back fantastic memories that will last at least 50 years

They won it well. As a team. They played very good football under a very good coach and most of all they wanted it. Together. As a unit. Try and try all you like to pick holes in their win, but as an England supporter, I for one won't be saying anything because I would kill for my country's football side to be able to show a single shred of what the Australian team showed at that tournament.

Winning it well and becoming the first country to win a continental championship whilst not being from that continent doesn't change the fact it was only the Asian championships.

When did you beat a team from Asia in a world tournament last? Better still, feel free to list the ones you didn't beat.

They beat Kuwait in 1982.
Is there any they haven't beaten?

What point are you trying to make?
No country who has never qualified for the world cup should be allowed to host it at the expense of one who has.
Sod Japan, sod Qatar, sod Blatter and his cronies!

Couldn't beat Japan in a recent WC.

Point is pretty obvious don't you think?

England have not played a team from Asia in a World Cup since 1982, which they won.

So please tell me more about this failure to win.

Without checking, Iceland ranked higher than every Asian side?

Look at who they beat in qualifying as well.

Sorry, they were friendlies (for some reason I recall a 0-0 with Japan, but must have been another grade) but - Sth Korea (draw) and twice v Saudi Arabia (both draws) - ie never beaten either of them.

i know who they beat but it doesnt justify your mob losing out to them..

the other nations would of been caught by surprise and with progressing to finals on the line one would assume the english would of done their homework to counter the threat. the french has no issues with sorting them out....
