Both Uni teams through.

Reserves vs Macedonia, 2-2 after full time with uni equalising with the last kick off a corner. 4-3 on penalties with the 7th takers. Good game, hard fought. Woeful penalties from both sides though.

Firsts vs Ghan, 2-1. Uni went 2 up in the first half and almost got caught out coasting. Great header put Ghan back in it, and a similar one was disallowed for offside in the dying moments. I can see how they beat 2 sat prems teams to get this far.
Because everyone needs one.

The Eastie guys played really well. I don't think it's a secret we have a couple of recent first team players available, but our squad is constantly rotating so far this season. Very good result non the less. I can't remember an Easties side smashing any downs team like that.

Not sure what club you're from, but I have never been involved in a more satisfying win than that and everything just clicked today. Downs coach was humble in defeat, even if some of his players tried to take their frustrations out on the Easties players (and the referee). It says a lot for the game itself when it probably should have been closer to ten nil than five nil.

Good luck to the Downs boys for the rest of the season.

Your not talking about the downs boys, they were probably upset they couldn't make church cause of the early kick off

MV 3 Ingle Farm 4

Valiant attempt by MV, almost scored the equaliser 3 mins to go when the ball was cleared off the line by the goalie and defender...............

IF were better in their finishing and had quick counter attacks and they seemed to have an edge and control throughout most of the game.

Farm had 5 players out and lost its captain early in the second half when they were 4-1 up

The club was pretty happy just to scrape thru this round

You can only play who is on the park and besides MV had a few players out as well and made a couple of sub changes at half time which seem to upset their rhythm and momentum in the first 20 mins or so of the second half.
