Anyone notice a common denominator?
The "v" in the middle?

Bizarre they have to outscore South Africa by 17 runs to win.

Can only blame themselves for making a hash of two runout chances and running into each other for a straight forward catch.

Pleased that the classier of the 2 host nation sides just made it the other day. Could make for a good final if the other lot can sneer their way over the line today.

By all accounts it will be an Indian crowd and a grassless asian wicket, Indians have 2 spinners Aussies have none. Interesting.

We dont doctor our pitches like they do everywhere else. Otherwise they would have specially flown in the Gabba or WACA wicket!
I expect a close game either way, but reckon winning the toss and to bat to be an advantage. We shall see soon I guess!

 typical aussie cricket mentality of anyone who produces a wicket that doesn't match what you consider to be the way a wicket should be.

Where do they "doctor" pitches then and what is your definition of doctoring?

Its not rocket science - you have a good spinner or two, in form and batsmen scared of fast bowling, you produce flat decks as your lot and most others do.

So, unless a country produces a deck that conforms to your notion of how a deck should be, it's doctoring?

EXACTLY!

No where does it state that a pitch should be good for quicks for first 3 days and then bring the spinners in. It's just the aussies have decided that's a pitch and anyone who doesn't do it their way is "doctoring".

The indians have as much right to say the aussies are doctoring by not preparing dust bowls from day 1.

Not really, I'm just saying we don't always produce green tops on all test pitches when its clearly our strength. Each pitch is different and at times will suit a certain type of team. In India, for example, its just dust bowls and play 3 spinners regardless. So be it, we just happen to play on a more "even" wicket. I used the term "doctoring" as its a common term and practice overseas.

Was waiting for Dhoni to "explode" at some point, but didn't really happen. Not sure why they waited so long before having a dash. Good bowling maybe!

Let the final begin! Even if we lose, the kiwis would be worthy winners, but it will cost me a bit of beer.

NZ the best team in the tournament by some way but I still think the cons will win it. NZ playing all their games at home until now will cost them

I think your beer is safe.
Retards who can't quote go on the foes list.
