So now that the group stages are done who has impressed you the most and who wins the 2014 World Cup, obviously Brazil are in the box seat, personally I don't think Argentina have the cattle, Germany look clinical as always and without Italy there to knock them out they may go all the way but I am hoping the Dutch can break through for their maiden World Cup win, I know they will need to defy all the odds and become the first non South American team to win it in South America,
Belgium Chile the French?? bring on the
Knockout stage
Dutch and Germany overrated, Germany will struggle with a backline of 4 centerbacks and Loew wont put Lahm back in RB. The Dutch formation will be badly exposed as will there average midfield without Strootman. Right now Colombia look like the real deal with Rodriguez surely best player of the tournament, attack quickly and punish there opponents with pace, but cant go past Argentina for the sole fact of a little man known as messi.

And agree. Messi will finally be crowned the best player ever if he is to raise the cup. And fair play to him also
Still a long way to go to match Pele.

Unless I've filled in my chart wrong, then yes it it.

Although i suspect that Brazil will get a few home town ref calls and probably a soft penalty, Colombia was one I though at start of tournament as a dark horse.
have been more impressed by France than Germany and Netherlands seem a little inconsistent apart from Robben flapping around on the ground. Tough to pick between Argentina and Belgium but purely on Messi producing something with di Maria who has played well for them.
I drew France in a sweep, so hope they at least get to the final (or win third place play off). Other than that, I picked the Argies pre-tournament so will stick with them but deep down would love to see Costa Rica or Colombia get up.
