Boxer on brink of history

Post by Stitch This »

I lol'd

"Samoan-born boxer Alex Leapai is just one win away from making history as Australia's first heavyweight champion of the world."

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2014-01-02/s ... etworknews
Time for some righteous indignation

Most people only quote reliable sources of information…
"I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. That's why I succeed." -Michael Jordan

Come on GIAE you must know by now that Australia will claim anyone who has been to this country as their own if they are successful - or, in this case, unsuccessful - this one did get a share of the limelight for 20 minutes at least.

Because you lot jump up and down whingeing when the boots on the other foot. You need to be reminded that it's one of the few things you do bigger and better than us.

1. Claiming people who aren't from your country
2. Whingeing
