EPL 2013/2014
Very early days, but reckon it's going to be very tight at the top this year.
Time for some righteous indignation

If Ozil fires, and Giroud, Ramsay, Wilkshire continue to play the way they do.....anything is possible.
remember, its a marathon, not a sprint.
But so far, this season looks promising, 6 teams look like battling out the top 4!!
Re: EPL 2013/2014
It's going to be wide open i think, both Manchester sides and Chelsea haven't had the best starts, so teams like Liverpool, Arsenal and Spurs will really have to make their great starts count.
Re: EPL 2013/2014
Liverpool have Soton (h), Sunderland (a) [Suarez back], and Palace (h).
Think we'll still be top 2-3 and undefeated after 9 rounds.
If someone offered give or take 17 points from the first 9 games I'd gently nibble on their upper arm, considering the pre-season commentary from the coaching team was to build up toward peak fitness around Christmas.
Chelsea need to sort their out their striking options out or risk playing catchup in the back half of the season, seems crazy to let Lakuku go on loan. Personally I think Eto'o will be a bit of a dud.
City I think will need time to understand the way Pellegrini wants to play.
Utd have a decent run after City away this week and should be there abouts before Xmas period.

Didn't look so good without Coutinho though, but I agree you'll be thereabouts in the lead up to Christmas. The Kop wrote:Liverpool have Soton (h), Sunderland (a) [Suarez back], and Palace (h).

At least at the moment there are about seven clubs capable of taking out the Premiership - a distinct improvement on this time last season and the 10 years before that!

You Spuds are a simple bunch.
To be fair though, he had a quiet game, but didnt matter as other players stepped up.
Its always tough in the 1st group game of the "Champions League"

That's because the Gunners have been a French club for years.

When was I ever jealous? The way you've hyped him up I was expecting him to grab about 2 assists and a goal every game. Much happier with Eriksen who cost about a fifth as much, 3 years younger and looks much more consistent than Ozil.haywood djablowme wrote:what are you both actually about?erik_lamela wrote:Nice One Cyril wrote:These French journos know their football ...

What has that got to do with anything? Do we need to have this discussion again? If you have been going to Highbury / Emirates fairly consistantly for the last 20 years than maybe you have

It was NOC who once again brought up Ozil.
