Southern Knights posted their biggest league win for 2013 over what appeared to be a depleted Para Hills Lions who required double shifts from several players
for the long trip down South. Knights initially struggled to put the ball away with several opportunities going begging.
Para Hills also threatened to score on the counter with several lapses in concentration from the home side.
Chris Bradley, returning from an overseas holiday in Europe, eventually posted Knights first goal soon followed by Robert Marsden, Tom Foglia and Robert Marsden again
and Knights went to the break with a 4-0 lead.
Half time saw coach Jim McGuinness instigate a few role changes for Knights players pushing Jimmy Stewart and Matt Harrison forward.
Scott Bradley gave Knights a 5-0 lead with a well placed strike followed by a good strike from Tom Foglia to make it 6-0.
Para Hills Lions pulled back a goal with a well taken penalty to make it 6-1 but tired late in the half allowing Tom Foglia to add 2 more goals and one from Aaron O'Toole to finish
the game at 9-1 to Knights.
The game was played in good spirits by both sides but Knights did feel somewhat aggrieved to have 2 vocal players booked for trying to lift their own team mates performances
with some strong vocal encouragement
Hopefully Para Hills will finish off the season stronger, good bunch of lads who just get on with it despite testing times.

Quite a frustrating game for Southern Knights Reserves with a little team understanding missing due in part to poor training turnouts of late.
Sladjan "Sledge" Bilic hammered home Knights only goal of the first half despite chances falling to Charlie Hollis, Dustin McMahon and others.
Knights started the second half with a little more urgency but it took until halfway through the secong half before the Sledge-hammered home his second for the game
after Charlie Hollis pushed the ball across the Para Hills goal face.
Anthony Micheal made it 3-0 to Knights with a powerful strike into the top of the net from about 20 metres.
