That's a pretty good effort if it is a sellout. However ther is a distinct possibility that the stadium won't be full as 15k of seating is for super pass NRL wallaby ticket holders, who more than likely wont show.

It's going to go off if we get up..similar scenes to 2005 I reckon. Maybe not as big as that was our first world cup in 30 odd years but coz it's come down to this it'll be big. If only we were playing Oman....now that would have made it very interesting!

Shame on people for showing national pride and wanting to support their country in a crucial game.

I think his comment was more to do with the people jumping on board when it looks likethey'll progress instead of bing on board from the beginning

This then we have Man Utd and Liverpool on the way. It's the perfect thing to keep football in the mainstream media's eye during the HAL off season.

Loved the turn of phrase by an interstate journo describing a ragged, fraying Iraq who have been hit by withdrawals and a suspension: Iraq, nicknamed the "Lions of Mesopotamia (Greek for between two rivers, the Tigris & the Euphrates)", winners of the 2007 Asian Championship now look more like mange circus animals.

He goes on to say "Iraq has got to be put under thorough examination, only to make sure there are no weapons of misdirection".

Surely Iraq won't be the equivalent of that other 4-letter word 'Iran' in our history and have us all curled up in a foetal position!

Hope I am right they have so much to play for, will come out the traps quickly and be a couple up after 20 mins. Comfortable 4 or 5 nil in the end.
