Just wondering how is the draw done......Last year Metro had 2 teams at this stage and they played each other as well......is this so clubs only have one team in the comp or just freakish co-incidence.

They do draw it from a hat, however I'm not sure if there is a clause and those two are automatically placed against each other. It is unfair for everyone, teams will feel they have to fight to get a semi, while Metro get a wild card. In saying that Metro have to defend their JSL team didn't just roll over to allow it, hard for everyone.

I'm sure the JSL boys would love to get one over the JPL boys, but unless the JSL win, most will see it as dodgey.

under 14 has JSL and JPL teams from Raiderrs and they didn't draw each other - Fulham have the Raiders JSL team.

I'm sure it is just lucky or unlucky, depending on what colour your shirt is.

I know people that have attended the draws and according to them all is fair and it is an open draw with no one seeded or kept apart. Good luck to any JSL team that can progress to the latter part of the competition.

Any club officials are able to attend the draw.....or so I believe. I actually attended the draw and as I was impartial to the 14's (our 14's are out of the cup) I drew the teams. Both Metro teams were completely random draws from the "hat" I can assure you of that, as were all age groups for that matter.
