Wiggins has increased his straglehold on the yellow jersy after a dominat victory in the 41.5klm time trial yesterday
Cadel Evans who started the day 10 seconds behind Wiggins, finished 6th in the time trial, with 53mins7secs.
The lead between the two has stretched out to 1minute and 53seconds
stage 10 on tuesday is a 194.4klm route from Macon to Bellengarde-sur-valserine, a highly mountainous leg including the first ever ascent of Col du Grand Colombier!
doesnt look good for Cadel to defend his 2011 Tour Victory!

I think drug test wiggins and especially froome, knocking off cancellara by that much? Looks very suss to me
As for cadel, I think he is in good shape, not many mountain top finishes meaning his descending skills can pick him up alot of time, at 1:53 back with the mountains ahead, he knows he has to attack but also he has no pressure of wearing the yellow jersey, I reckon he will take a massive amount back Wednesday night, huge chance of winning the stage, plus the likes of menchov and nibali will work with him to bring wiggins back
hope so, his BMC team have been dissapointing so far
his tactics are different from wiggins, evans backs his climbing ability, but likes to be paced through the flat stages to keep out of trouble, hence his team selection, he knew the danger was wiggins being a better time trialer hence he knew he would have to attack in week 2, his tactics now are to put a man in the break away every day to have 1 sup[port him at the end if needed while wiggins gets carried through the mountains, evans doesn't care he is not in yellow, puts all the pressure on wiggins and it showed yesterday as they had to do alot of work to chance down nibali, hence evans didn't really attack, he let sky work themselves over, he would have observed how froome, porte and rogers were going and wether they can be there today for wiggins in a massive stage, hilltop finish, can see nibali, menchov, evans and van den broek all teaming up on sky, they want sky to ride themselves out of this race
so i think bmc have sone their job, evans is still sitting good, just would have preferred wiggins have less of a lead, prob about 30 seconds less, but evans had an average tt and wiggins pulled one out of his muscat to get 1:43 on a day
the question now is wether sky can stay up there over 2 HC climbs and a cat 1 climb finish
evans got last night pretty spot on for me, especially coming out of the rest day, he rode his legs back in, today is the stage where it happens for the contenders
