Book Trial
This is a FREE trail of a new soon to be published The Essential Soccer Coaches Handbook, it consists of a 15 week sample of a 26 week plan featuring a range of training grids, drills and routines (hereafter called Grids) that can be used by coaches at any level. Some of the grids have already been trialed by Premier and Championship teams in Britain, but we need to test if these training sessions would be suitable for club teams. The book language is English.

Four Levels have bee created (Level 1 - Junior Teams, Level 2 Youth & Girls mixed teams, Level 3 Club Men or Ladies Teams and Level 4 Semi-Pro Teams, but this trial is for Level 3 Men's/Ladies Clubs or Level 4 Semi-Pro Clubs), if you wish to take part in the beta trial, you will be provided web based links to the grids and to the relevant software.

You will also be given technical support during the trial period that is due to start 1st January 2015.
You will be asked to submit a report on the value or usefulness of the program after a 15-week or after 15 sessions have been used. Note: Each training, coaching or Session (hereafter called Sessions) should last for one hour and will consist of:- Pre Warm Up, Warm Up, Ball Skills, Match Practice, Game and Warm Down set of grids, approximately six or seven grids per session.

If favorable replies are received, the book will be published in September/October 2015 and be released for sale as a CD or DVD after that date. You will also receive a free copy of the published CD/DVD if you complete the trial and submit a report.

There is no contract to undertake, this trial is open ended and has no cost to participants. However no equipment will be provided other than software and print ready grids that you will use in your training sessions, you should feel free to offer suggestions or improvements as you see fit. You may trial these grids through as many teams as you wish in your club so long as a report is provided by each coach.

You will require a computer with Internet, a colour printer and normal coaching tools such as markers, poles or posts, balls, a whistle, stop watch etc.
If you wish to participate or require more information please email soccercoach@westnet.com.au or complete the form on this application page.
