Would it be standard practice for clubs to pay for the out off pocket expenses for junior coaches courses ?

Definitely depends on the club, i know some clubs do but there are a lot that do not.

Suppose it depends on how much the club value its coaches and wanting them to improve their coaching knowledge.

i know Campbelltown do and i actually like what they do, if you do your C license they will pay back the full amount but stagger it over a 3 year period, so at least the club will see a return on their investment

Some courses are breakfast cereal courses run by academics , cost lots of cash , and effectively bribes your way to some badges which dazzle the unsuspecting.
Doesn't mean they can coach.

The game in SA and Australia remains a micro-industry and will continue to be until the clowns who seem to be taking a stranglehold on the local game bugger off forever and go back to their own sport.

How much does the club invest on top of the $1100 parents fees?

Cove refunds you your cost for completing your FFA badges.

I wouldn't trust any club that doesn't support their coaches in obtaining their badges.

I'm not sure how a club can justify not doing so.

Not really sure to be honest, perhaps someone on this forum that is privvy to the NPL costs would know more
