Another team withdraws

Fulham U12 JSL pulled out of the league. I'm sure there's good reason but it's bloody annoying

So far in U12 JSL Red we've had 2 teams withdraw and 1 team added.

Frustrating that 5 weeks into the season clubs still pull teams.

And here I was thinking they did it just to spite me.

To clarify I mean no ill will towards the club and I'm not suggesting they planned it this way. I'm probably just surprised at how much movement there is even at this stage. And it messes with the lovely fixture list I created. And that is crucial.

I haven't had much involvement in the junior set up in the past 20 + years, but one thing that seems to be (unfortunately) a common theme is a team that starts off with 12 or 13 players, so you think yeah, we can do this, only for a few to drop out, move elsewhere (even up within the club itself) or other reasons and suddenly no-one to fill the gaps and hard decision has to be made.
I feel sorry for both club and residual players in this scenario, but that's life. Times like this you even have to feel for the poor sod at the FFSA to try and re-arrange fixtures to suit the teams left.

Agree. No winners in these scenarios. And if the kids are left without a team to play for at this stage of the season that is devastating.

Certain clubs should only look to field 1 team per age group. Aim for more stability within the squads in stead of chasing the Xtra $$$ followed by a load of head aches.

From what i have heard second hand it is more coaching related not player related in this instance. A number of u12 coaches pulled the pin late on. Dont know the reasons.

Geez that's tough to take for the kids if they had enough players but the coaches just walked.

Wow. We played them 3 times in pre season friendlies. Coach is a great bloke. Seemed to be some dramas there but I figured with the U12s pulling out it would have been sorted.

Wonder if that will happen or move them to the harder northern jsl league ...looks like the southern jsl looks a bit to easy for them. They don't seem to grade jsl like they do jpl.

would that be the hard northern league that this weekend turned in 8-0, 12-0, 10-1 and 15-1?
