Im pretty sure clubs have a deadline to put their teams in by the end of Dec or could even be in Jan. The FFSA may have put out the 2018 weekly schedule of dates of rounds and cup games ect. by now.

Then in Jan they put out draft divisions once all that is bedded down with clubs and once that's finalised they put out the fixture's maybe late Jan early Feb.

But its a bit early in the process I believe for the info you appear to be looking for.

Junior Team nominations were due in three weeks ago. Draft structure usually before Xmas and fixtures late Jan/early Feb

Who at FFSA is in charge of the Juniors these days?

I thought it was generally Jan when the draft structures came out based on when I was last involved. Must be quicker these days :?:

Its been a few years since I have been involved but sometimes clubs drag their heels in getting their teams in, so this might be an issue for the FFSA.

Yes, last year was earlier than usual due to the FFSA junior administrator taking long service leave over Xmas and new year. I can also remember lodging the forms in early November and receiving the draft structures early December. I would guess the draft league structures will come out any day now. Leaving it until the new year is too late as clubs get 2-3 weeks to provide feedback on the structures before fixtures can be done.

Until all clubs have sent in team nominations forms the draft will not be done.

There are still a few clubs who have not submitted team nominations.

Far out, trials were in September so you’d think they would have sorted it by now. Another example of gready clubs taking money before realising they don’t have enough players.

What rubbish. Greedy clubs? September? Here's an idea - why not try and assist/co-ordinate the task at your club if draft schedules are so important to you at this time of year. NFI

Pretty hard on Modbury Vista who finished second in the U13 JPL-B not to get promoted.

Incredibly harsh when you consider the effort they put in last season. They started out in U13 JPL C, got moved up mid-season, made up all the fixtures in U13 JPL B and managed to finish runners up. A pretty impressive achievement.

They deserved better.

It will be interesting to see if Olympic field an u16 team next year or will they get special case again of not adhering to the FFSA rules of having a team in every age group. I say if not then they should just play in state league that way they are playing by the rules.
