Yorke Peninsula Clubs

Post by redmum »

Hi all, we are moving next year to the Yorke Peninsula (between Kadina, Port Broughton, Wallaroo).
We were told that Kadina has several teams, but I can't find any info?
The only club I can find is the Yorke Peninsula, which is based at Moonta.
Does anyone know of any others in the area?
TIA

Just a thought - maybe you could look at playing for Gawler.

We have some players that travel over an hour to get to trainings from the country to Modbury.

You might have to travel a bit more for games at times but it might be a better standard to be involved with.

Because sometimes Google doesn't know everything.

What's that got to do with Junior Football?

My google found clubs without any problem at all.

Either my google is better than your google then or you were being lazy or useless? I wonder which one it is.

One of my favourite footballers might be a junior.

I did know all your favourite players were juniors.

there are only football teams in yorkes, there isn't even a league. The closest league might be whyalla lincoln region, better off switching codes. I moved out that way in the late 90s and missed the locker room so I switched codes and had a ball. Kadina wallaroo moonta maitland stansbury ardrosson bute paskerville and yorketown all compete in the YPFL

Surely Port Pirie would be closer than Whyalla or Port Lincoln.

Hmm, don't think I could convince him to switch codes!

I did find a team eventually, based in Moonta, very small from the looks of it, and they only play in Kadina and Moonta (so, who do they play against lol?!)
