hard to say, at this stage based on the quality of play.

Birks look very good and their "effective possession " and strong attack certainly make it interesting. Haven't seen cumby play so cant comment.

Both Campbelltown and Adel City look good. Id say Birks thru to finals and might come down to penalties in city vs campbelltown

Great to hear stories like this well done Adelaide Hills, pity some other clubs at the tournament couldn't follow their lead

Sad to hear this, always live in hope that all teams (and spectators) show good sportsmanship irrespective of results, kudos to the Hawks.

Sportsmanship would be nice but you won't get that from the team in black n white . Just ask the boys from Salisbury utd who every time they went to get the ball after a goal got pushed into the net !!!!

Sadly the red team were awful too, chanting obsence things when our team played from the stands, and after they defeated us when the boys were shaking hands one of their boys called one of ours a rose!!!

Their goalie was abusing spectators during the game such a disgrace from one of the best clubs around, it takes away from what a great team they are.

The coach didn't even make him apologise, and the coach was in the stands with them when they were chanting, these coaches should be setting an example, I have always said not only do I want a good coach for my son, I want a good MAN to coach my son.

Well that's not all true as Salisbury United were getting yellows for wasting time once the ball was in the net. Salisbury tried hard but city need goals to go next stage . Well done to both teams.

Well done to Campbelltown for the friendly cheering during Pirates game Vs Metros, BTW Pirates missed the 10.30 game due to FFSA notifying one person at the club by email on Thursday evening (and not the chairman) only two changes on the day so a phone call would have been good, apologies to Campbelltown.......probably worked in their favour anyway :D

Thanks for the Man U Cup results Darius, did you see the games and if so, any comments on quality of play / how the teams played. Great opportunity for Birks or Camp to represent SA in the Oceania finals.

If it came down to goal difference may not have worked in their favour..?

well done to CCSC , and overall a great effort from all teams , only thing im disappointed about , why no trophy or medal , for the winning team , surely the FFSA could have done one as this team will be the SA squad that goes to Sydney and represents the state . and it gives those players something to remember . this is were we fall short . . surely MR Carter could off been there and gave them something . really poor

While he's at it, back date it and hand a medal to all the players of the teams that have won previously. Oh and a bigger one for the first team to ever to win, because it was a ground breaking win.

Hang on, what about the runners up? They deserve a medal.

Don't forget the club, all the hard work from the volunteers, give the club a trophy.

I don't know if qualifying to enter the Man U cup warrants a medal, but congrats anyway.

thanks Nova , its not about Sydney , but those kids that won and runner up for a cup . something they can remember and in 10 years time , when they see the cup at there club they can say I was in that team . . the kids love it and they died to get there , ask any off them . and I take my hat off to them to play 3-6 games in a week . not to be even given nothing from the ffsa . its rubbish . and we want to promote the game . REALLY . they are the future .
