Team P W D L F A GD P

West Adelaide 2 1 1 0 6 2 +4 4
White City 2 1 1 0 4 3 +1 4
Cumberland 2 1 1 0 2 1 +1 4
Sturt 2 0 1 1 2 3 -1 1
Playford 2 0 0 2 0 5 -5 0

Would this be the correct order of the ladder in this group, not sure about WC and Cumberland as WC scored more but conceded more. What comes first ??

nothing wrong with it if its in the rules....BUT WHY IS IT IN THE RULES (the ffsa have a lot to answer for)
its the only tournament i have ever been involved in that allowed something like this..... anyways good luck to all the teams tomorrow and may the best team win and make us proud in melbourne

So your anti the appeal process?
Did you have a team involved and did it affect them?

The player threw another player down to the ground off the ball and behind play.- Violent conduct.
Kid played next game and did ok so yes it may have affected the results.

This is part of the tournament information packet sent out to all.

Disciplinary Matters
- In an event of a player receiving a red card for an R4, R5 and R7 a mandatory match suspension to be served in the next game.
- If a R1, R2 or R6 the match official will provide a verbal report to the FFSA Disciplinary Group which will consist of Damien Jennings, Stephen Toth and a FFSA staff member in attendance at the time. The group will determine the penalty, the team manager will be informed of the outcome immediately
- If the team appeals the penalty, as per Competition Rules & Regulations a fee of $250.00 is required to be paid. Appeals can be made can only be made on the basis of the penalty or mistaken identity for a mandatory suspension.

In reading it I gather that a hearing took place, when, and on what grounds was the appeal lodged?
The infringement is obvious and straight forward, as was the identity of the player - no brainer really.
1/6.... but still 6. :)

a hearing of some sort took place for it to be passed through.

Anyhow, beside this incident and the Playford keeper red card, most of the weekend was pretty good and the kids played well and showed good sportsmanship.
