Adelaide City 4 - Metrostars 1
Game only came alive in the 2nd half - alas a well deserved win for the City Boys.

13's final -Para vs WA. Really was a game of two halves. West should've been more than 2-0 at half time but Para rallied well in second half a made it a great game. Para could've drawn level but on the balance of chances WA deserved the win. Well worth the $1 admission fee.

Spent a nice morning and early afternoon at Hindmarsh today. Well done to all the boys, some glimpses of great things to come.

Great to see Mr Carter there. This day is an institution in Adelaide football and should always be at the Hindmarsh mecca. The very well organised formalities by the FFSA including 4th officials will provide very memorable moments for all involved.

That cove under 12 side knocked the ball around fantastically, they may not have the seniors right but with juniors like this and the under 13's who made the semi final that club is moving forward.

Two standouts for me today;

The Under 13a West Adelaide 10 - Koutologenis & the Under 14a ABE 7 - Dimas

Both great talents and big things in the future from both I think.

Zero budget club with zero budget trainer could cost the future
of the injured player. Well done to AC trainer and the doctor.
Great to see Toro's 12th player Ricky on the line calling offside .
Will sasi pick up no 8 toros striker he was fantastic how many others
under the system will miss out. Players playing for low divisions .
Well done Toros Ricky and the Trainer

Must admit, the offside decision look a bit dodgy. from what I saw there were 2 Toro defenders on the goal line, so I'm not sure were the AC players were standing to be offside? Also the corner that the winning goal was scored on also looked sus. The only time the ball could have gone out in that play was from the Toros corner kick, which it didn't because the ball fell to a Toros player in the box who had a shot on goal. The AC keeper caught the ball in play (looked like it was going in from where I was) and a corner was given???? the Toros goal from the corner was a cracker though! Oh well thats Rico.......I mean Football. Good game overall, well done Toros.

Not so sure about the x-rated Eminem music played at half time of the 17s game. took quite a while before they realised and went to adverts on the big screen

So what your saying then is money well spent, can't even beat a zero budget team with zero budget trainer, lucky you have a doctor, he may help heal all your smashed egos.

clubman-you are an absolute chump

I thought that our zero budget trainer Emily did the right thing. She comforted the boy and didn't move him until the doctor came , well done to her.As the poor lad lay on the ground in pain your coach appeared to be continually whinging to the officials about the lost time, I hope this wasn't the case . Well done to the Toro boys on a great win, credit to the club, always nice to see a team from a lower division getting up. All the best to young Kagi, hope he has a speedy healthy recovery.

Well said Sanchez, however, words could be used better than chump.

Face it, Adelaide City have two options:

1) The entire coaching Staff should be embarassed and sacked cos they are a disgrace.
2) Adelaide City lost to a better team and that team should receive credit.

You choose.

At our club we contact Tony Vidmar via email and suggest a player he should look at. We then provide him with the players next 2 or 3 game dates and times and the players shirt number . He then will go out and watch him depending on his schedule. we follow up with tony after 3 weeks to see if he has had a chance to watch the player and any feedback he has on the player. most times he gets back to us before the 3 weeks with either a yes or no. Any feedback is given to the player, parent and club coach who then will work on any deficiencies or if succesful the player will be invited to train with sasi. We had another example where one our female goalkeepers was recommended by our goalkeeping coach to be recommended to sasi. as this was the girls side of things the club wasnt sure who to contact so emailed t.vidmar who gave us the detail of the person at sasi. we emailed this person and sasi gave the girl a trial based on the recomendation of senior goalkeeper. sasi and sasi coaches have been professional and willing to work with us everytime.
