Under 16's

Post by soccer1 »

Now that trials are nearly over

Has any1 heard of any quality under 16 A sides.

Para Hills KNights have got a good side with a few very strong players.

Has any one else heard about the knights or any other teams

Thanks

Would also be interesting to see how many teams might be nominated next season. Saw some U16 trials announced for clubs that did not have 16's this season. Anyone know how many teams are needed before they are split into A's and B's?

i would guess at least 16 teams before they split it into two divisions. :D

As for the top teams, Blue Eagles, Adelaide City, and Jets.

It all depends which clubs go with the U16's and those that pushed their U15's up to U17's regardless of whether they are ready or not

I dont think modbry wud b up in the top teams

They barely had enough people to pick
aparently they only had 9 kids show up 4 the first trial session

I have been going around looking at the teams an i think that para hills and blue eagle are going to be the top teams

THere are some quality players in both teams does any one know any of their names??

I believe Metrostars are having an under 16 team next season most of the players too good for under 15 but not yet mature for under 17s
I believe the coach is a former NSL Player.

Isn't Para hills is gonna be made up from their 2007 - U14 B's ?

Obviously u r involvd with P/hills.

Tiral sessions at clubs often clash so not all players get to all trials now do they :?:

14S and 15s plus a sprinkle of triallists not ready for 17s but showing promise.

Lets put this into perspective and at least try and ascertain some of the facts. I spend a lot of time down at the Paddocks and I know for a certainty that from last years u14 A's all returned except for 4 who would not have made selection anyway, with the u14 B's half returned the others to my knowledge have taken up other intrests I would hardly call that losing them to another club.

This years U16's is made up from a selection of last years u14 B's ( who arguably were never a B side anyway ) U 14 A's U 15 A's one from the U 17 A's one from Croyden, two from E & D, Salibury Villa to be exact.

So it's a real mixed bag, a new team, who will hopefully do o.k. but I guess we won't know until the season begins or ultimately ends.

Oh and football freak, at least try and spell afew words correctly mate, you dumb cabernet !!

So Black and White

you are either a coach at Para hills or a skool teacher (that was a p-take matey)

It is a forum pal, F7 spell check is optional u donut.

(BTW football freak F7 doesn't work unless it is a windows application so don't bother)

As for the U14's players leaving as they were not going to be re-selected

Unless you were the coach this year that is a pretty poor post if those players or parents read it or were you THAT confident you were going to 'select' (or was that develop) better players.

modbury 16 have a very young team this year but will be one of the better teams
para hills have a young team as well but they had some drop back from the 17s who did not make it and didnt wanna play B's
metrostars will be up in top 3 because most of their players are there from last years 15's who made cup final
aledaide city will be a strong team as they are every year

pre-season cup wont work because there will be to many team to play

Even though para hills hav a young team they will definately b up there.. Most of the players are from the 14 A's who won the league last season.

The players who dropped down from the 17s and didnt want to play 4 the 17 B's will b a massive advantage

Para hills havnt lost any player to other clubs by the way ......
