I think it was excellent especially for the younger age groups, the coaching was also way better than what we normally see at clubs (my opinion)

From what I've heard the League is similar to what many of us older coaches argued for for many years and were ignored and ridiculed by most of the clubs.

Nice to hear we were on the right track after all.
The older I get the better I was.

Hopefully a wake up call for the clubs to re invest in juniors instead of wasting their money on seniors

Its a user paid system though, unless some kids are in these academies for free, which the Director/s kept as a salary.

So its not always the best players.

Word has it they will be running a competition during winter on Saturday's

Should the academies involved be accredited ?
- Minimum coaching qualifications
- Adhere to policies set out by FFA/FSA

What happens if a kid gets injured? Do the academies have their own insurance?

Stood and watched a u10 game last year with two senior coaches.
Comments were that you would never see this standard in club soccer.
