That pic taken at Hindmarsh Stadium was taken after that disgraceful Ampol Cup Night series we were not allowed to play in the final and not paid either.
The two clubs Hellas and Juve already showing their fringe NSL player strengths in that Ampol Cup Night series were told by the SASF they can start a fresh in the SASF league by starting in Div 3.
The two clubs were already in Div 1 before they entered the nsl.
We had beaten 4 SASF Div 1 teams in that Ampol Cup Night series and none of our team played regular SASF Div 1 soccer in a season. Fact.
A disgrace to the two clubs and to the game as a whole in Adelaide at the time .

Those Adidas yellow stripe soccer boots bought from Bailetti in the pic I paid with my own money.
The club never bought us boots for the players forcibly signed on pro contracts a disgrace or gave us petrol money for training.

I've always bought my own boots, and gloves, and shinpads.

Stop looking for a handout.

My heart bleeds for you JD.

Most pro players in Europe either wear sponsor provided boots or buy their own, so they can play in boots they feel comfortable playing in.

Many even spray paint over any logos on their boots to avoid being associated with a particular sponsor.

All I am trying to convey is a bit of Adelaide Town soccer history.
OK if you are getting a few penny's as game pay and you can go and buy some boots.
But we got nothing.

JD with you at the helm all this could change.

The path to solving any problem is admitting there is a problem, you have been screaming about it for years so it should be simple for a man of your capability and accomplishments.
