Instead of being called Socceroos & Olyroos, should it just be called something so it can relate to ALL our national teams of all ages and including the ladies?

Just a thought :)

Good work, admin. About time the sheilas got acknowledged a bit more too.

The Matildas recently qualified for next year's Women's World Cup and narrowly lost last week's Asian Cup Final to Japan.

ps, had to have a chuckle at now Matilda star Samantha Kerr's comment that in the past she thought soccer was "just a girls game" and that at the start quote, she "didn't enjoy the game to be honest".

She would have probably got that attitude from former SANFL player, her father Roger Kerr, and West Coast Eagles AFL legend brother Daniel Kerr.

I bet father and brother would have changed their attitude now as Samantha plays professionally in the U.S. of A., travels the World and will feature in the 2015 Women's World Cup. She wouldn't have got that playing in local mickey-mouse women's aussie rules competitions.

It isn't done, it doesn't relate to "all our" national sides. It only related to YOUR national sides.

Typical aussie - does half the job and thinks he's done.

Reminds me of when I first came to Australia there were commercials on Australian tv saying "in Australia near enough is not good enough". Bollocks. Near enough is good enough is your national motto.
