Senior Women Coaching Vacancies
I am quite surprised by the number of positions that appear to be open for Senior Women Coaches next year. Two of which appear on this forum yesterday plus Leigh Matthews resigning as coach at South Panthers has resulted in another vacancy. Does anybody know the circumstances that has lead to these vacancies and do you know if Leigh has moved to another club?

Re: Senior Women Coaching Vacancies
WOW....two plum jobs on offer.
Salisbury have really impressed me and credit must be given to Adrian. I was sceptical at the beginning of the season because my recollections of SI was not good. They were far from disappointing. Not sure why he’s moving on but the challenge is to find the right person to take on the role and to continue onwards in the right way.
Uni…That’s really surprised me. Tracey has been doing a great job at AU and I suspect she may just be in need of a good rest. I hope. Too good a person to no longer have an involvement in the WNPL. Then again, it’s good to move on when the time is right. A break may be the tonic and hopefully see her back.
The questions are: Will Adrian suit up at another club (WNPL or other league) ? Will Tracey take on a role with another club in the WNPL?
Anyway I wish them both well and thanks for bringing the talent your teams have shown to the WNPL.

There are also speculation that the head coaches of Cumberland & Adelaide City will not be there in 2018.

Cumby = Maxwell
City = Pezos
WOW. They'll be HUGE outs.
Max Fulham too?
Just as I thought that the WNPL had attracted notable coaches it's all about to fall away in just one season.
Dandylion = Insightful comment. Probably unwarranted.

We know Uni and Inter, because they've been announced. The rest is just speculation and rumour. And I'd say considering the source, let's not get too excited here.

Understand your sentiment but "notable" is not necessarily good. Hopefully the replacements will continue to develop the womens gamebilly the kid wrote:Cumby = Maxwell

Excellent appointment of Kosta Juric at Adelaide Uni.
Now for Salisbury Inter to appoint theirs.
Any others?

So White City will have a coach that's not 100% committed to them and a head of womens football that has a history of defamation, manipulation and general scumbaggery. I'd looooove to play for that team

Re: Senior Women Coaching Vacancies
Kiewea- whilst your post is still up...
Tracey has been appointed women's Technical Director at White City, not a coach. And the position at Inter seems to be support of new coach there. Don't see much of a conflict as the two clubs are in different comps- I would guess each role is part time.
Tracey is knowledgeable, vastly experienced and has a lot to offer any program. Having her in these advisory roles at clubs who are trying to improve their women's programs is good for the women's game. IMO

Re: Senior Women Coaching Vacancies
Can't see it working. It won't last the season let alone the start of the 2018 WNPL.
Adrian....Long distance mentor. Guy has enough on his plate and distance is a key reason not to re-commit in 2018.
Anyway...with the guys "brilliant resume" why would he need a mentor?

May be good for the game, but still wouldn't want to play for a club where my TD was also advising another club. Makes sense for her though, if you want to make football a full time job this is the **** you need to do.
Re: Senior Women Coaching Vacancies
Hardly defamatory, the settlement details for one of his two defamation cases have been getting spread around. Wouldn't have to look too hard to find em....Brian the Postman wrote:Talk about defamation…Kiewea wrote:So White City will have a coach that's not 100% committed to them and a head of womens football that has a history of defamation, manipulation and general scumbaggery.
