Results from Sunday-

Prems:

Stirling/Fulham: 0-14
Metro/WA: 4-0
PHK/Uni: 2-11
Comets/City: 0-6

Ressies:

Stirling/Fulham: 0-9
Metro/WA 1-0
PHK/Uni: 0-4
Comets/City: 0-5

So, Fulham, Metro, Uni, City into the semis in both comps...played July 25(according to schedule published at beginning of the year- it's been known to change in previous years). Draw within next couple of weeks I would imagine....

Was at the Comets/City game- Comets did really well IMO, especially in the first half, although City was missing three starters, had most of the ball and missed at least three or four clear chances in the opening half. Score was 1-0 at half time.

I think Comets would give a couple of teams in the Prems a challenge - they're definitely a team on the up. An important week for them this week, as they play South Adelaide twice (one make-up game, one regularly scheduled). Those results might decide who comes second and plays off for a spot in the Prems next year...

That is great to hear juniorsupporter, its what we want for the comp, and a big week for Comets and South. Disappointing to hear Campbelltown don't have their two miniroos team which is part of the WNPL criteria (both their U7s and U11s apparently don't exist) when Comets already have two miniroos teams and the other junior teams to fit the WNPL criteria.
