You haven't experienced the women's cup draws before I see! Two weeks is a luxury, usually it's done with about 10 days to go.

Draw of the first round has been out, to the clubs, for about a month. I notice it hasn't been posted to the website. Hopefully that will be rectified shortly. Maybe someone more technologically gifted than me could put the draw up here? I tried but couldn't figure it out.

Are you referring to the timing of the draw ( which was done March 30- pretty good I think for a mid-May fixture) or that's it's not accessible on the website? I'm traveling ATM and only have my phone with me- has anyone actually gone to the ffsa website and clicked on the competitions menu? My phone doesn't give me the draw but sometimes it's different on a computer...

Why aren't the NTC girls in the cup?

To my knowledge, none of the state squads have ever played in the cup. NTC already plays in two different comps, and their end game is the Nationals in Canberra, IMO there's no need to add the cup to that game schedule. I don't know what the official rationale is, but I suspect that might have something to do with it.

And to answer Dandelions's question: A random one

Yes- but the one close game saw Para Hills, a State League team, beat Salisbury Inter, a Premier League team. Salisbury is by no means the bottom team in the Prems, and Para Hills is not dominating the State League. The two biggest blow outs were top Prems teams against State League teams- something similar would happen in the men's comp I'd expect.

both highly competitive games between Knights and Inter,(league and reserves) with the reserves being called of with 5mins of regular time after a clash in the box between keeper ,defender and Knights forward that resulted in concussion to keeper and defender, this after inter lost their starting keeper in the first half after saving a shot with her face and resulting in her receiving concussion also. Wishing all three players a speedy recovery.
