Brazilian international joins AU

Post by Stuckey »

Brazilian international defender Monica Hickmann Alves is heading to Adelaide United for the 2016/17 W-League season.

The 29 year old joins Adelaide on loan from NWSL side Orlando Pride and is the first known Adelaide United international signing.

I know it should be in the women's forum but it's fun to get people all excited by the headline.
:D

Still amazing news!

They surely mean its the first International signing for this season.

Last year the W-League team had three Americans and a New Zealander.

Hopefully it might just attract a few more supporters to their Home games.

Dahlkemper just made her debut for the USWNT last week, it's a shame she couldn't be secured for this season.
