Great for NQF and the womens game. I think they may struggle initially to get results though

It's taken adelaide 6 years just to get competitive.

Apparently Wellington could be looking into a W-League team too, however, due to travel costs, are looking at basing a team somewhere on the central coast or gold coast. NZ football apparently have supported the idea believing that it can help their national squad players as they will be involved in more quality matches than those in NZ. Can't see how it will be financially beneficial to the Phenix though.
