"Parahills United are a division 2 team (should easy be in Div 1 and good enough for the Prems).
If david Edmondson came to watch us play on sunday cup round 3 against cumberland Reserves which we won 5.0, he could take his pick from a few of the girls who played for parahills United...............so come down and watch us play a game david, your more than welcome................also trials should be done properly instead of picking top divisions, like the trials for the STICS ie: North, South, East, West, Country.................You are missing out mate."

"I would like to know what about all the girls that slip though the coachs D fingers is he to naorrow minded to look at other than the prems teams . there are girls that are just as good or ever better than some in the W league now but he just dose not wont to look at them .For the coatches not putting the girls name forworred is full of sh###i"

"What if the Girls cant get in for trils are full they go d1 d2 so on.Not because thay dont try its like them banging there heads against a brick wall then they give up . Thats what i mean the coatch is narrow minded for just looking at prems teams . Every time girls go out to trial it is all the same girls. What happen to all the 16 -18 yrs girls now its all about 13 - 15 thats great to bring up young players which might be ready in 2 to 3yrs down the track we need players now. The older girls get prushed aside again miss out because thay not in a prems side. The keep changing the goal posts."

I think some of us are referring to earlier posts on the thread, "W-League Players wanted..."- I think you've read it....

With the result of the Adel Uni V PHU game i guess it shows just where PHU are at the moment. They do have some talented players in their side that should be playing higher than Div 2 but without those players thay most likely wouldn't be as good as they are at present. Div 1 could be where they need to be at the moment and with further improvement maybe Reserves. But having said that they did well to get as far as they did and for that they should be congratulated.

Metro thru to cup final.
Metro 1 Fulham 0
The goalkeeper is the jewel in the crown and getting at him should be almost impossible. It's the biggest sin in football to make him do any work.

Was a very enjoyable game between Metro and Fulham and was not a lot in it. Fulham start the game on fire for first 10 mins the kept the ball very well with there fast ball circulation and had metro chasing shadows, then Metro midfield began to get on top and had a good 25 min period putting more pressure in the middle of the midfield and Fulham struggled to get good possession as they had.

In that period metro produced some good opportunites hitting the bar and a couple of shots wide, then eventually scored when a shot was fumbled by fulham keeper and put metro one nil up.

Fulham changed some positions and when the fullback moved into midfield Fulham gained control again and created some good combination play and created some fabulous chances with a one v one and also a ball cleared of the line, and had the Metro defence stretched with the pace they had up front.

Second half continue with Fulham pushing hard for an equaliser and metro playing well on the counter attack, having a second half that was very open and attacking with both teams pushing to score.

In the final minutes Fulham and a great chance to equaliser when the winger ran straight through the metro defence, one on one with leps and was saved then the following rebound shot was cleared of the line to give metro the game.

Really good quality game, and seemed the crowd also enjoyed i think was a great advert for the womans league with such a big crowd on hand.

Should be a good final between Uni and Metro, and both teams deserve credit for a highly skilled and high tempo game, think that young fulham team will be one to watch in years to come.

certainly opened some eyes for some first watches of our league and gained some new fans in the mean time.
