North West POSITION VACANT CLINIC COACH/GAME LEADERS

Positions Available: Four (4) Clinic Coach/Game Leader (Paid Position)
Location: Western Suburbs of Adelaide (West Lakes and/or St Clair
Starting Date: Early May to Late September 2012 (during school terms 2 and 3)
Job Description:
To Coach, Educate, Teach and Supervise a range of children being boys or girls in any one age group being U6, U7 or U8 in the sport of soccer.
Experience and/or Qualifications:
Coaching Qualifications with the FFSA are an advantage but not essential, as we are willing to train you if you are the one we are looking for.
Must have some skills and knowledge of soccer to educate and develop the participants under your instruction. Must have a police clearance.
Personal Qualities:
Need to be an outgoing, confident and positive person. Have a friendly personality and be able to relate to children and adults. A clear and loud voice and have strong authority characteristics.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Setting up and packing up equipment, making sure the area is safe and in a reasonable condition.
• Looking after a group of soccer players at the one time and have a duty of care for the children under your supervision.
• Must communicate clear instructions and motivate the group of individuals, making sure they know what they are doing in a safe manner at clinics.
• Develop the skill level and knowledge of the participants under your instruction and challenge them in the sport of soccer.
• Be able to market yourself and the soccer program throughout the association and to individuals to generate greater participation levels.
• Must be available Saturday during school term 2 and 3 2012 from 7:30am to 1:00pm
• Provide a 15 week training program for juniors u6 to u8
• Must be committed and dedicated to the association and its participants.
• Communicate with the Coaching Coordinator on regular basis
• Game leader for under 6 age group complied with FFA Small Sided Games
