Congrats Ruth Wallace on getting away with the most obvious hand ball in history, in the penalty area as well!!

You have to hand it to her.
I don't just want to have my cake and eat it, I want to go back for cheesy biscuits and tiramisu.

Very scrappy first half. Both teams had spells controlling the game in second half, and when Metro switched formation they dominated, and would have deserved an equaliser.

Was some goal though, the girl that scored looked well off balance but managed to get a very tidy shot in.

Yeah it dipped quite a lot, maybe the slip helped it in. Id be well chuffed if I scored it tho. Couldnt believe my eyes when no.7 for Metro came off. She looked the best forward on the pitch, and when she played through the middle showed a few decent touches, good positioning and great speed. Just lacked that 1 good finish. Also the LM of Metro carved up the Olympic RB one-on-one a few times, just needed someone on the back post.

Exciting game to watch, but disappointed that neither team could settle on the ball, despite most of the girls showing good skill level. Some lovely through balls though from Olympic in particular.

Great looking pics.

Especially the one Shibby sliding in studs first. Amazing she has not caused more damage to players (other than biting ankels). Tackling style leaves a lot to be desired.

Have heard today that the police were called to the Brahma - Munno Para Div 5 game yesterday, anyone know any more about this?

We've had a bit of trouble (nothing serious) with a couple of teams this year which, for a more social comp like Div 5, has been frustrating. Some of my girls have been turned off playing already and this kind of news won't help matters.

Nice first post muppett.
No cops from what I hear, unless you could shed a little more light on the issue rather than starting crap on here

Just posting what I heard mate, was told by another coach who said he'd been at the game. If I'm wrong then fantastic, but if not then it'd certainly be of interest to a few people involved in Div 5 teams.

Close indeed. Know all about the incident which in my eyes has no need to be aired here. Pm me by all means sparts, interested to hear the view of MP over this... :!:
