Mercedes have officially withdraw their protest and are going to see what happens with the FIA investigation.

Usually get into it after a few races. Prefer the bikes, but the GP is the pinnacle of car racing

Both the Moto GP and F1 were great this week.

Will be interesting to see what teams shine with the F1 regulation. Was crazy to hear Toto say 3rd and 4th were a great result for Mercedes lol

Max looking like he may just run away with the championship from here. Leclerc had a chance but i think that has slipped away. Leclerc has been crazy fast but the cars reliability is letting him down.

Funny seeing just how bad ricciardo has become. At this rate it's questionable if he'll even get a F1 drive next year.

Awesome work by Perez leading the whole race, unlucky for Verstappen not clinching the championship. Amazing drive by DR3 finishing 5th from 16th great job.

If he hadn't been so bad in qualifying maybe he could have beaten his team mate for once.

Decent drive but a bad weekend for him. Glad to see him leaving McLaren, they deserve better.

I think he may have beaten him once this season.

Not aeen Norris disagree. I'm sure he'd be reasonable happy with 4th.

DR has beaten Norris 4 times this season. So you are wrong again.

“Fair play to him, he [Ricciardo] has done a great job, we maximised today,” said Norris. “Literally could not have done any better. So, great job by everyone, by the whole strategy team as well. Maximised today especially when others had some troubles. Happy, great weekend – not an easy one. It felt like one of our worst to begin with, but ending up almost being one of our best of the year.”

A weekend is more than one day, decent race but a poor weekend. Qualifying 16 isn't good? However, Noriis did have a great weekend.

It wasn't a statement of fact, however, did Ricciardo beat Norris once this season?

Worked out really well for DR, who knows he might not have done as well if he qualified better, these are things we can not know.

It was you saying he maybe beat him once, meaning said it was zero or one time when the answer is 4.

It's laughable that you think qualifying 16th and being behind your team mate is working out well. Do you actually watch F1?

Once again you're proving that you don't understand the word whingeing.

Ricciardo takes De Vries seat at Alpha Tauri for the rest of the season. Hopefully this puts him in line to take Perez' spot in a Red Bull next year.

He's gone to the worst team on the grid. He'll be lucky to stay at Alpha Tauri, let alone get to Red Bull.

Surprised Liam Lawson didn't get the call up.
