Re: Ashes 21/22
^^^^^^^^ you're embarrassing yourself...no bearing on the result but i'll keep making excuses
2 things stand out thus far...
1 - Australia's selectors have got it spot on with every selection
2 - England havent been able to seize key moments

Re: Ashes 21/22
Really?? The Cummins wicket didn't show a picture of the ball actually making contact with the glove or bat.

Re: Ashes 21/22
I didn't see that one. It might have been when I was out on road. I still didn't see an image of the ball making contact with Cummin's glove or bat.

What it hit was the top of the rubber grip on Cummin's bat.

Re: Ashes 21/22
Yes got him, what a very easy catch once again. GIAE can't help but get out for a duck all this series it's a wonder why he is still playing after so many losses.

Re: Ashes 21/22
I heard that in the commentary and I am not disputing that it did or didn't. However, none of the pictures shown in the appeal process clealry show it actually did and without a clear picture I don't think you should be overtruning the umpire's initial decision. The one today where the ball hit the stump was clear as so overturning it was the correct decision.Raich Carter wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 9:16 amWhat it hit was the top of the rubber grip on Cummin's bat.

Re: Ashes 21/22
At least it wasn't as bad as the overturning of Wood's decision. Vision alone shows he didnt hit it.Bodø wrote: ↑Fri Jan 07, 2022 8:42 pmI heard that in the commentary and I am not disputing that it did or didn't. Re: Ashes 21/22
Interesting that something England is know for (rainfall) is the one thing that stopped them from yet another embarrassing loss. I guess 4-0 for the series will be good enough lol

Re: Ashes 21/22
None of that changes the facts. Sydney has more rain than London. In fact, the only state capital that doesn't have more is Adelaide.MegaBonus wrote: ↑Mon Jan 10, 2022 10:48 amahhhhhh that ol' chestnut.....Hawksey thinking he has a new audience to talk his Barossa Pearl to...by God is an Englishman » Mon Jan 10, 2022 6:15 am

Re: Ashes 21/22
what a silly statement to hang your hat on.....
the matter of rain is in relation to cricket and in particular cricketing days lost. please be feel to put forward any other superfluous trivia as long as its about cricket
