So true, have not watched one entire game of AFL this season, actually sat and watched the second half of the Legs and the Roosters on Saturday and enjoyed that heaps more
Go you Roosters!

Why would there be costs involved?

No chance, if it isn't played at the G they will play it in Sydney you watch, even though the logical choice would be the Perth stadium, it's brand new and holds 60K

Wow, in the past week the two Manchester Clubs have scored more goals than Richmond, the transplanted Swans, Hawthorn and the Camry Optus Crowies.

Channel 7 must be having apoplexy having so fewer opportunities to show adverts trying to sell stuff to people.

AFL has been on the slide as entertainment for years.

Not a great day out on the paddock again last night, and what ever the issue is, it needs to be sorted because its not a good look and sends the wrong message to the other players and supporters.

Went to TAB yesterday to cash in some weekend racing tickets and thought, shall I back a draw (GC v Ess) with some of the dough for last night's game and thought, nah, second thoughts, don't worry about it.

AFL investigating two Tigers after fight outside Gold Coast strip club
Richmond duo Sydney Stack and Callum Coleman-Jones are under investigation by the AFL and the Tigers

Unhappy to see Gibbs retire but im glad his last game was a good one and he went out with a great performance and a win. The chair off the pitch by Carlton players was a great sentiment.

Good on ya Gibbsy, was a fantastic feeling around the ground yesterday. Also had Keith ‘Rhino’ Richards in our box. Wonder if GIAE is a fan, was a top bloke

to help the umpires avoid making any controversial decisions, why don't they just award a goal, any time the ball goes between the goal posts, whether it was touched or rushed through or punched by a defender, just award a goal, make things a lot simpler, save some time wasted on checking several times before deciding if it was touched or not, just give a goal.
Make the game bit more interesting.

....and get rid of point posts maybe?

Never happen, they will never move on it, as it's what makes the game unique

leave the goal post and point posts as they are just award a goal every time the ball goes between the goal posts - how easy is that to do ? whether it is touched or not - hate for a finals match to be decided because of a controversial goal not being awarded .
Regards rewarding inaccurate kicking this is the only sport where the team who kicks more goals can lose . ( eg one team kicks 7 goals other team kicks 6 goals and 7 points, their inaccurate kicking is rewarded with a win )

Also you could argue get rid of rushed behinds - if it goes through the middle, its an own goal.
