The bowling was very good but simply no fight or ability to properly defend and leave balls is totally on show.
Expecting a fine day today and England to be about 4/300 as no chance we'll get the same movement they got yesterday

Hate to say it, but what a performance from Joffra.
Those 2 deliveries to dismiss Harris and Head - unplayable!
Thankfully Warner and Marnus decided to fight back or the total would of been worse that England vs Ireland!

It was definitely before 2am as you stated i think it was around 11.15pm to be exact.
So you admit that your incorrect once again!

However, you didn't watch the game for you to say it was at 2am.

Caught out once again
Where did I admit I was wrong?

I definitely watched the game. However, we know you don't follow cricket, so why would anyone believe you were watching it?

English media have a field day today.

England [have been] bowled out for under a hundred four times in 18 months. They have lost ten wickets in a session three times in three years, a phenomenon that has not happened since 1939.

When was the last time we lost 10 wickets in a session?

Australia did it in 2015, can't remember England doing it

will the last hour of play inevitably lead to the following question being asked through out the ages.."where were you when.................?"

Certainly Test cricket is alive an well , smashes that endless Big Bash 20/20 off the park. What a brilliant Test innings by Stokes one what will be remembered for long long time.

Ian Botham reckons 200,000 people have told him they were at Headingly in 81.....
I wonder how many say they were there last night!

Truly amazing cricket match.

I just wsh England stopped winning games with one innings.

Series has completely turned on its head.
Australia was one wicket away from retaining the Ashes and now England have all the momentum and should be favourites to win the series.
Great innings by Stokes but the Aussies CHOKED big time

Test cricket well and truly the best form of the game. Lost an unlosable game really, and some brain fades didn't help toward the end.

Stokes certainly having a decent season, will probably be knighted.

That said, we still need to win one of two more tests and Smith coming back should help. 8)

What an ending, Well played Mr Stokes.
The aussies had themselves to blame, their bowling and day 4 was rather silly, what ever happenned to full length deliveries or yorkers?
Tim Paine complaining that the umpire should of given out Stokes LBW to Lyon, like seriously stop your whingeing, he is sounding like GIAE!
It was plum LBW but if they hadn't used up all their appeals, different story.
Stokes lucky to be still there at the end of the day.

With Smith returning, interesting to see who makes way.

Khawaja to miss out and Smith at number 3

Yes, I said if the Aussies didn't Use up all their appeals, they would of got the wicket!

On replay, Stokes was out LBW.

I would hazard a guess that he doesn't even know the errors he's made.

He's right though in that Paine was actually suggesting that it should have been given out because he was out of reviews and England weren't.

I read a blog last night suggesting that Ball Tracking didn't pick up off the front pad. That tracking has it clipping leg, so even if reviewed would have stayed with on field decision. Not looked fully into it but it was interesting reading.

However, swings and roundabouts and that's why you don't blow your referrals.
