I doubt he'll hear you but remember to save some for Smith (if he has to bat)

2 things to come out of the game

1 -one team performed as expected
2 - Australia can play better

So, what you are really trying to say, is that Australia didn't perform to their potential but England did?

I'm not counting chickens yet, but it was a nice little win all the same. Semis sewn up at least.

Anyone else notice the England players who didn't sing their national anthem?

Here's some points.

England's poor fielding display has cost them here. That and not having a Plan B until too late. The loss of Roy is huge.

Its how you end the tournament that matters, as long as make the semi final, that's all that matters.

Before the game I made two comments, Finch is Australia's best batsmen and what the shiraz is Vince doing there.

Weather - people seem to forget that Sydney gets more rain than London and there were a few rain affected games 4 years ago and many world cups have happened in England without any rain.

Oh and loved hearing the boo'ing of Smith and Warner long may it continue. Those cheats deserve it.

Didn't seem to affect them much. Boo as much as you like, it's just crowd noise.

Smith couldn't stop twitching and didn't bat well.

Yeah, if only crowd cheering spurred them on instead. That worked well for the home side. :)

Correct add to the fact the English bowlers didn't get a break-through in the first 10 overs, but came close to getting Finch out twice.
But, how good was the Aussie bowlers, esp. Beerman and Starc?

as for the rain, your having a laugh???
Its the English Summer - 80% chance of rain!

No, didn’t think Aussie bowlers played that well at all. Poor shot selection, England batsmen thinking it was a T20 and no plan B when it didn’t work..

Sydney gets more rain than London. Clearly you’ve never been to London in summer.

Why would I go somewhere where the chance of rain is 80% in summer?
I would rather stick to Mallorca, Playa Del Carmen, Zakynthos, Hawaii, Peurto Rico, Reethi Rah, Capri or Amalfi coast.

Sydney gets more rainfall than London, in fact almost australian capital cities do.

You may know that to bee true if you'd been there.

Been to most of those, London wins.

It's not the first time you have been incorrect, and probably not the last.
If I travel to a country for summer, I'd expect Summer weather not rain, so I will definitely give London a miss.

Un-bee-lievable! Everyone hits the deck as swarm of bees invades pitch http://www.espncricinfo.com/video/clip?id=27073419

PS it is not the amount of rain it is the amount of rainy days.

London drizzle wins!

What a great batting performance From The ginger, Bairstow.
England back in it now after defeating the favourites India.

last match against NZ will determine where they both finish on table.

Australia should finish top on 16pts
India Second (should win last 2 games) on 15pts
NZ third on 13points
England/Pakistan 4th

If England Loses they will finish 5th on 10points
Pakistan to finish on 11points
If England wins they will finish on 12 points
NZ on 11 points

Pakistan to face bangladesh
