See they are called fans if it was at an Adelaide United game they would have been "Soccer Hooligans" and all over the front page.

Surely you aren't that naïve?
Surely you're not so blinkered to understand how perceived or alleged "crimes" are assessed?

Hope you're never on jury duty. Bugger any facts, let's just go with what the Herald publishes.
So given the further details that have emerged ie DNA evidence on drugs seized from his locked bedroom and the fact that he is yet to return from overseas

I presume you still tow the cartel line that he has nothing to answer for?

You're the one telling the story. Has he been charged? Have Interpol been alerted?

It's not me telling the story it's in the national news.

Can you answer my questions on the basis of what has been reported at least?

Neither of those things were reported.

However it was reported that they are seeking him for questioning.

I would assume though that Interpol don't put out warrants for drug addicts.

In other words, they have a few follow up questions from last time when they said he was free to go overseas if he liked as there was no major issues. He must be guilty (of something) then!

AFL apparently worried about the games image as scores continue to drop whilst stoppages and players around the ball increase.

If you fart near an umpire, will that soon mean games suspension? Looks like its heading that way.

Or maybe even this from Monty Python " I fart in your general direction"

You wouldn't want to be shaking hands with them after the game either. It's still "touching" an umpire. :|

Sounds like there have been some life bans issued since, although not sure for which incident.

Now they're contemplating serving only mid-strength beer at Etihad (and assume MCG) much like Adelaide Oval and the cricket.

It was just a matter of time and at least the media are reporting more on AFL off-field violence nowadays.

Strange that the AFL are cleaning it up on the field, but struggling with it off the field, when 30+ years ago it was clearly the other way around - plenty biffo on the ground, not much off it.

Small steps.

I saw some huge punch-ups at a Centrals v Sturt GF years ago - got a tiny paragraph stuck away in the middle pages on the paper.

Not long after (before?) I reckon the hotdog incident happened at an AU game at Hindmarsh and front page.

The way society carries on these days, it wont take long for anything "untoward" to make the rounds. Nearly every incident is captured by someone on their bloody I-phone.

Probably won't ever see it, two rules for reporting crowd incidents in Australian media .

Umpiring still terrible in AFL. Knocking off the Weagles on their own patch, AND having to beat biased umps as well made the Bombers win all the more impressive.

Bombers v North - thought I was watching a game from yesteryear. Attack from both teams, high marking, players taking the game on, bit of half time argy bargy, cracking goals.
Kudos to both coaches.

Whereas I'd go a West Coast v Collingwood GF.
