We all know Hawkesy loves and idolizes Warnie.Bomber wrote:If he did that he should be in line for promotion and captaincy!God is an Englishman wrote:That appears to have been against team rules which I think will lose him the Vice Captaincy. You're right as well about being out and about late at night is "asking for trouble" for a bloke in his position. Shouldn't be, but we know it is.Bomber wrote:
Always the "celeb" will be made to look guilty. Mind you being out late on the piss is asking for trouble these days with so many "heroes" around.
Could be worse, could have slapped a gold digging prozzie.

Massive blow to the poms chances in Australia this summer, but with the Aussies batting average at best, this series could be decided by the bowlers!

Re: Aussies Claim Another Pommie Victim
I can't see him not playing in the Ashes. Warner got 2 warm up games as his punishment for an unprovoked attack. Stokes has already served 2 games as it is. BUT for once you're right, Stokes will be a HUGE loss, might as well hand you the urn without him.Wayne Kerr wrote:ozzie owl wrote:Hales and Stokes suspended indefinately by ECB.

I don't play the game, so I can't accept the urn.
I was going to expand my opinion piece and say, that the Aussies will still win with or without Stokes playing.

Always hard to beat australia in australia. Decks and weather conditions are suited to their style of play obviously.Wayne Kerr wrote:I don't play the game, so I can't accept the urn.

as it should be, what's the point of home ground advantage?
Indian pitches suits their spin bowlers
Pommy pitches suit their swing bowlers
Australia produce hard pitches that suit their pace bowlers.

Sadly the introduction of drop in pitches in Australia has reduced the impact of local variances.Wayne Kerr wrote:God is an Englishman wrote:Always hard to beat australia in australia.
