Its that time of year again, where overweight middle aged men dust off the lycra and pretend to be bike-riders.....

To all motorists, please be careful and look out for them on the roads.

full kit chardonnays

As long as they also look out for cars, obey the road rules and learn to SHARE THE ROAD as well.

Haha good luck with that!

They look like bikies from the Mardi Gras with the way they try and take over the roads around where I live.

I was at the lights at Hungry Jacks (Rundle Mall) last weekend and a bike came up the inside of all the cars and jumped the lights. The amusing bit was the car at the front of the lights was a copper. I chuckled as the lights went on and they pulled him over.

On the other side of it though, a team training in the hills on sunday morning were waving me through at corners to indicate traffic was clear to go past them. As soon as they heard me they pulled into single file. They were some of the good guys.

A very rare occurrence I would imagine. Though you have to give credit where it's due.

Today two of them pulled into single file allowing me to pass and further down the road gave way to the buss pulling out of a bus stop so as you say credit where credit is due.

One another note, organizers would have been pleased with the gorgeous color of the southern beaches today.

So you'll be putting your bike away for eleven months tonight.

Had to drive on King William Road last night, shocked it wasn't open in parts due to some bikes having been on it 8 hours earlier.

How much did you pay to ride on the same roads you can ride at any other time for free?

Bellend season again. Funny I saw some of the pros practising last week all obeying the road laws.

Everyone else, bugger the road rules.

If these pros are so revered, how about taking a leaf from their book and RIDING PROPERLY YOU DICKHEAD WANNABES :!:

Like the one in the hills last week who was filmed hanging on to his team car.

Or TEAM SKY last week who were pulled over for illegal turns and failing to give way to pedestrians.
