Listening to Warne contradicting himself about it in the same sentence the other day was amusing. I don't see what the complaints are about, Smith was given out (I admit he was a long way down and looked a harsh decision), DRS showed the umpire made the correct call.

Ian Chappell defended the umps decision when backed up by DRS. He's Aussie too isn't he?

He is, doesn't change what I said about Warne though.

KP is a refreshing change.

The only one who seems to speak sense.

I think you're letting your man love for KP cloud your vision.

His commentary on the cracks in the pitch was farcical.

Interesting that several times he indirectly referred to himself as a South African supporter - I wonder what he would say if England were playing the Boers?
Time for some righteous indignation

He spoke of himself as an Englishman. Obviously you weren't listening when he said that when he played at the Waca with the holder of the Ashes, he thought that the test would be over in 3 days.

KP spends most time laughing and carrying on like a pork chop. Not necessarily a bad thing and probably the closest thing to Bill Lawry since his retirement.
It hasn't been the same since Richie, Bill & Tony left the commentary team. Boycott was a laugh on the odd occasion they let him in.

I would expect him to support SA, he's a south African. Is he a Boer though?

What was wrong with his comments on the crack, I thought it was insightful to hear what would be in the batsmen's head. I know when I kept I used to constantly talk about the state of the pitch to the close fielders to put that doubt in the batsmen's head.

Maybe that's a question for ozzie owl to answer as the person most experienced in supporting multiple teams?

Is that 0/1 in Bomber speak or the proper way?

It was the real way. They're currently 35/1 - chasing 241 to make SA bat again

There needs to be some changes before the next ashes, so maybe another poor series will see a sweep out of some of the status quo. That said, the Saffers look pretty good and will be relishing these conditions, even with a couple decent players missing.
Smith needs to work on coin tosses - he's crap at winning them of late.
I notice no foreigners talking of doctored pitches this year. Interesting.

Don't know what a normal tasmania pitch is like and didn't see much of the WACA. No doubt Adelaide oval will be doctored though just so they can use the pink ball.

This SA team without Steyn and De Villiers and Smith wen trying to take out their bowlers
