I could be wrong here but swam 3 times and all 3 would have broken his own world record from before the games. Even if I'm wrong, he broke it twice.

Would Mack Horton go up to Shane Warne and say "You're a drug cheat mate".

Sometimes it's wise to know when to just STFU.
Time for some righteous indignation

I thought so but couldn't think of why I would possibly call Stuart Broad a drug cheat.

So you're going to take Hawkesy's approach and select which tournaments you want to observe?

What about before that?

What about the last 2 olympics?

Unlike you to pick something to try and make your own country not look as great as it is.

All these people gathering around the telly during work time watching some swimmer lose.

I'll have to remind them of that when I take time off to watch an important football match during work hours.

They would have won if it hadn't have been for those Chinese drug cheats.

I'm guessing it has something to do with how many world cups you consider italy to have won.

I don't differentiate just on time for that one though. You just can't count tournaments where the best team in the world doesn't bother going as it's too easy. That would be like saying PNG are the best aussie rules country in the world.

No, but are being selective on what you will/won't recognise. On the day you can take on who shows up. It's not your fault if they aren't up to scratch.

To me, it's basic common sense. PNG aren't the best aussie rules nation the same as Italy were never the best footballing nation. If we include those world cups, why not include all the home nations that were won. More reason to include them as they were actually the best countries playing in them.

Home nations isn't open to everyone. As for the world cup, you were welcome to participate if you wanted.
