Are we both talking about Courtney Walsh the W Indian fast bowler?
Yes.

Others in front (no particular order):
Lillee, McGrath, Thompson, Akram, Imran Khan, Anderson, Willis, Steyn, Holding, Roberts, Marshall, Ambrose, Hadlee.....
Even as an Englishman I'm having Walsh over Anderson and Willis. Only one even close in my mind to him on that list is Ambrose.

I'd have Ambrose, Walsh and McGrath in as my quick bowlers.

Aussies miss out on No. 1 spot coz Windies tell smith to piss off with his derisory 370 from 70 overs offer. I don't think smithy was impressed, shame

You have to laugh how Smith talks it up about being a day 5 wicket, It was still a day 2 wicket.

I wonder if Mark Waugh and Shane Warne were part of the idea to contrive scores.

It's not the W Indies job to help australia win the game.

Completely agree.

If this was the final test of an Ashes series, the Aussies were up 2-1 (hoping to reclaim the Ashes) and were in the exact position the Windies were in this Test - NO WAY would they want to formulate a plan to enable a result in the game.

Unfortunate about the weather given the time of year, but the Windies had no responsibility to try and force a result
