48 overs and setting them 321
Your lot wouldn't have kept batting. Nothing more than a ODI score to chase really.

And yes, MJ should have at least played in Adelaide for mine. Pink ball, day/night test, part of history and all that.

We did similar in Brisbane a few years back. Why risk losing, especially when you're 1-0.

Glad to see for once you can see that an Australian is doing exactly what you tried to take the piss out of an Englishman for doing.

That said, Johnsons is even worse than Swann's

And Trott's worse than Johnson's.

To be honest, I didn't expect Australia to declare. I know I wouldn't have.

Yeah, sure was. Combination of homesickness and/or "yellow" fever.

Few years?? More like a year and a bit. The nasty Aussies can have that affect on you though.

Seemed like longer, that whole series seems like it was more than 2 years ago.

Fact is - he was ill and quit the game over his mental issue. Reading comments from other players he wasn't right earlier and shouldn't have even toured.

Let that be a lesson - get psychiatric assessments before coming on a tour of Oz (with all the bullies you have to cope with).

I agree.

Fail because he tried to play on

Fail because the management should also have know he had issues.

The Adelaide test - usually a good one and good crowds expected. Given I'm lucky enough to have a corporate box for Sunday, I hope this test lasts longer than the current India v Saffer game is likely to go (prob finish early/mid day 3)!

Will depends if the pitch has been doctored like the waca was.

Your use of the term "doctored" is outside of those who talk normal cricket.

Even you stated that the doctor had a huge influence at the waca

A slow road was produced in Perth, is that normal?

Fremantle doctor (not an MD or curator).

Road in nearly always has been (true, consistent bounce apart from maybe day 5 on occasions). Wouldn't say it was slow - most wickets were still taken by the pacemen.

interesting that the commentators on the ABC are also saying that this isn't a traditional Adelaide oval pitch. Match fixing again?

"Traditional" - yeah, why didn't I think of all those previous AO tests with different session times, pink ball, drop in pitch after a rock concert!

At least give me a semi-challenge........

I'm only repeating what the commentators said.

Always an excuse though

So one minute the commentators aren't worth a pinch of cabernet, now you hang your hat on what they say? Can't make this up!

As I said above I am merely stating what the commentators said.

I have more time for the ABC commentators than Channel 9 idiots.
