Pakistan v England
Really weird watching this game. Looks like it will easily get into day 3 and probably all the way to day 5.
Is that still allowed?

There really isn't anywhere else though. Unless they give up any form of home advantage.N5 1BH wrote:UAE for cricket just not working, worse than adelaide united at the oval. Pakis need to find somewhere else to play
They could consider Canada or the States, a few cricket fans there that would love the opportunity to see a game. Only other choice would be to play at another test venue but as a neutral.
Would love to see them play in australia and tell the groundsman to prepare the wicket they want rather than what australia wants

Are there no cricket grounds in Pakistan?

Re: Pakistan v England
They tested the water early this year with Zimbabwe. Was going well too apparently sold out crowds and everything, till some nutter blew himself up and killed some poor copper.

Irrelevant? How so?Bomber wrote:In other words, almost an irrelevant test. Care factor.............God is an Englishman wrote:Cook almost has a run for each spectator.
It's still two test nations battling it out.

England needing 99 to win in about an hour. Opening the batting with Ali and Buttler.

Match drawn - 27 needed, 6 wickets remaining when bad light stopped play.
Pakistan slowed the game down well to ensure minimal overs were bowled.

6 bloody overs to go, where is the bad light when you need it. Shame it was Rashid that got out last man, 4 hours in the stinking heat surrounded by 7 screeching fielders was a great effort

He did well, nearly hung on. Fairs fair though, pakistan deserved to win after that first innings collapse.
