I didn't ask you anything of the sort. I did say that we deserved to be in the top 4 - and what is this topic about? :)

I didn't see any apology, but I will except your apology for not typing in clear English and therefore leaving what you meant up to personal interpretation

My typing has been in clear English all the way through, but feel free to enrol in my next seminar on how to win at Internet if you want to keep up.

I won't spoil it for you later risers.

There were only two people in the pub supporting Australia. I was one of them and the other was an American

I'd have thought most in the pub would have wanted Australia to win that one.

Fact is, we did and my final prediction (or rather hope) has come about. :D

Best 2 teams in it. Kiwis to win it for mine, but hope we put up a good show and you just never know. Still think I might be down a case of beer after this one.

I suggested "How quickly you've forgotten The Falklands", but it would appear people here have very short memories.

With all due respect maradona's hand of god was a bigger sin than the Malvinas Islands dispute.

No doubt the aussies have rode their luck this cup but fair play to them, they still had to go out and do the hard work. They’ve earned their spot and who knows, the rate they’ve been getting away with mistakes they may just pull it off.

My eldest was keen to let me know that 5 major finals this year, cricket ODI, rugby league, rugby union, netball (& can’t remember the other one) have been aussie v kiwi contested. Credit where it's due I suppose

Well done Wallabies, good show all tournament and at least look like a team on the up under Cheika.

NZ worthy winners, clearly the best. Cost me a box of beer, but my trifecta win on Saturday more than makes up for that. :)

Probably not a smart move by Izzy when you look at who is the in charge of Qantas (who is Rugby Australia's major sponsor).

After all, don't we teach our kids not to lie and steal? We don't encourage drunkenness not adultery nor a range of other behaviours in our friends and family.
Naturally, no one complained about the mentions of drunks and adulteres, even though there a re legions of them, but the reference to homosexuals sparked an avalanche of outage from the PC brigade.
The rainbow activist who all but threatened to pull Qantas sponsorship if Folau wasn't sanctioned. Regrettably, social activists rarely have the consistency gene, choosing instead to back the tribe over the principle.

He hasn't sought to hurt anyone, nor has he advocated violence.

I thought Australia was the country of freedom of speech????

Unfortunately, without him, Australia has no chance at this world cup!
