Its only one crack that's "fixed" - so much more work to do. One cant help but wonder that from those available to take on the job whether they would bother, not knowing what crap WADA might dish out yet. Has to start somewhere I suppose, but a bigger clean out is needed, this is just the start, so need a "fresh" coach with thick skin who can wave around the big stick if needed. Cant think of anyone who fits the bill to that point really.

Someone asked me about what a club that's on its knees, seemingly down and out, a rabble, and looking for a new coach should look for to which I replied "I don't really care what happens at Carlton".

I will say Essendon's list has more to it than Carlton's... it's just the WADA thing bringing them down a couple of levels. Carlton's list has about 6 AFL standard players on it currently.
